Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Our purpose is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others and helping the body of Christ to do evangelism and discipleship through a variety of creative ways. Cru was originally founded as Campus Crusade for Christ in 1951, when Bill and Vonette Bright began the ministry on the UCLA campus. God had given him a vision portraying the total fulfillment of the Great Commission throughout the world. We are only a part of God’s workforce to accomplish that, but we are passionate about our part and how we can help others achieve their parts. From the beginning we have sought to be a caring community as well as a community on mission.

Christian Care Ministry administers the Medi-Share program. Medi-Share is a community of Christians who share each other’s unexpected medical burdens, much like the early church in Acts. As a faith-based healthcare sharing ministry, members pray for each other and have agreed to share in expenses that align with their Christian faith. Unlike insurance, Medi-Share is based on Biblical stewardship and responsibility---to God and each other. It is an extension of the practice of our Christian faith. Since 1993, more than $5.6 billion in healthcare costs have been shared or discounted. Now, more than 30 years after its inception, Medi-Share is the nation’s largest health care sharing community with nearly 400,000 members.

The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.” For over 40 years, Samaritan’s Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ’s command by going to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. We are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns us a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Founded in Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation Child & Family Ministries has provided quality care and services to children, youth and families through a myriad of effective programs that meet identified needs. Although foster care is our primary program, our mission is to restore and strengthen the family through a number of community-based services. Through Traditional and Therapeutic Foster Care and Kinship Care, children and teens are able to live in a safe, loving and stable home. Through Adoption, Legal Guardianship or Reunification, children can move toward permanency. Bair offers services such as Intensive In-Home Services, Outpatient Services, and a Multi-Systemic treatment approach to stabilize children in the home setting and decrease the risk of placement outside of the home.

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is an organization that is guided by big ideas and these guiding principles create an imperative to serve that compels LSF to build on organizational strengths, overcome weaknesses and create effective programs in response to human suffering and need. The mission, values, vision and ends polices guide the work of LSF. These guiding principles also shape the advocacy and promotion efforts of the organization, which focus on the needs of the vulnerable, overcoming barriers to service and positioning LSF to effectively respond to opportunities. We have over 60 Programs throughout Florida, an operating budget of over $200 million dollars and almost 1,400 employees. Our Head Start Programs are in multiple counties throughout Florida providing multiple program options including center base, family childcare, home base, pregnant mothers, infants and toddlers.
