For example, some folks prefer to have all the information in an e-mail, others prefer over-the-phone or in-person communication for effective collaboration . Some team members prefer short & sweet, direct communication while others find it off-putting and need more of a diplomatic touch. It really depends, though I make sure to keep my communication positive and focused on the objective or project task at hand.
