I also got a data science assignment but mine was 24 hours. Maybe they didn't understand the probability explanation despite the answers being perfect. I got an email almost a week after my take-home. Companies usually don't give feedback, even companies that I've worked for didn't give me feedback on my interviews. It makes sense, there's no gain for them but a potential loss to let interviewers know.
