I approached the questions I answered in a very structured way as per the advice I was given. This was very well received and is, I think, critical to success. In addition, the ability to quickly and confidently respond to numerical questions appeared to be very well received. I would recommend that you practice lots of simple, random calculations (e.g. 7% of 1,350; annualise 10,000 x $7.50 per month etc.) if you are not naturally strong in this area. Finally, having confidence in my responses seemed to serve me well. In one of my case interviews, I challenged something I believed was incorrect and was rebuffed. I then reiterated that it was wrong and explained why which convinced the interviewer. This was I think a big win for me; in fact, I was left with the impression that I was the first person to raise the specific issues with him meaning I would have stood out as a result. My takeaway here is that if you are right (on something objective) or believe strongly in your view (on something subjective), then be confident in prosecuting your position and back yourself.
