Create a business model using a raw data set. They provided me with raw data about driving behavior and asked me to create a business model as if I was an Uber driver.

I am guessing that they would like you to discuss how a typical driver's revenue (# of rides, fares, # of days worked per week) and cost (gas, car rental, car insurance) structure would look like and from there, ascertain the margins for a driver. Go with a structured, step-by-step approach and if you can show that you know how to use the data to gain insights into a driver's "business mode", you should do great. Revenue: Daily earnings * 6 work days a week * 50 weeks (assuming driver takes 2 weeks off in December) Cost Gas (e.g. $400 per month) Insurance (e.g. $30,000 annually) Servicing (e.g. $600 half yearly) = Subtotal Revenue less costs = margins If the driver is happy with the margins, then he is all set. If he thinks it's too low, he could either increase revenue (work more days or longer hours) or reduce costs (e.g drive a more fuel-efficient) car). This will then be his new business model. Hope this helps :)
