I had to train new employees while being understaffed at a clothing retail store, and the way I managed my responsibilities was to teach them one difficult task, and then have them only do that one task while I handled customers, and then when the rush died, I would teach them another task and slowly teach them through out the week till they were well acquainted with each duty and they had no more issues.
