Recently I was tutoring a student and she said that she was done with the book her mom assigned The Indian in the Cupboard and said she had a new one so I told her to get it. Her mom was upset that she didn’t do the summary for The Indian in the Cupboard. I told the mom I went by what her daughter said and she told me her daughter can’t explain what needs to be done so that’s why the mom is always there. I told her that when I come tomorrow we will look on her chrome book to see what’s written down as being due in the next 2 days. The next day I came and said “let’s look at your chrome book to see what’s written as being due tomorrow “ which we did and it turned out there was a quiz placed there that we would not have seen if we didn’t look at the computer. We finished the quiz in that setting
