I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies (New York, NY)
Interview
Interviewers were nice but the whole process was messy and dragged out. The whole interview process took about ~4 months - 1 month for interviews and 3 months of them randomly contacting me monthly to let me know I was still a front runner (probably just trying to keep me on the back burner until they found someone cheaper since my salary expectations were too high for them). Would probably never consider interviewing with them again.

Question 1
Not a lot of behavioral questions - just tried to get to know me and the skills I had.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies (Budapest) in Jul 2024
Interview
HR contacted me, the first interview with the hiring manager was set up fairly quickly and was conducted online. The interview was OK, there were no technical questions as those were supposed to come at the 2nd interview. However, I never heard back from them, despite discussing the next steps and my availability for a 2nd round. I understand that they chose to proceed with a different candidate for whatever reason, however, I would have appreciated a short email /call /text from the recruiter after a 1-hour interview that they decided to move on with someone else. To me, this would be a common courtesy.

Interview
After waiting more than half hour for the interview a young HR assistant came to meet. He seemed to be in a hurry. He asked the questions about my experience and my resume but without knowledge of the responsibilities of the position I was applying for. He showed no interest in the answers and seemed annoyed. The worst interview in my life.
