I said yes, there was a time not too long ago when I sheared the threading on my instructor's lug nuts for his truck since he wanted to change out his CV axle. It was a college class for Auto Body, and he just wanted to get his own personal thing done with our help. I had the Impact ready, thinking it was on its loosening setting, little did I know the people who had it before me were tightening something beforehand, and about 2 seconds after trying to get the lug nuts off, it sheared the threading. It was a humbling experience and I'm glad I faced the repercussions.
