I made sure I knew how to communicate properly and convey their ideas. When we missed the mark, we sat down and came up with a mood board to better understand a direction. Once that was nailed down, it was easier for the client to see their vision play out and they were able to more precisely communicate what they were looking for. I delivered their logo with their marketing materials and their brand identity was set! All a matter of figuring out the problem and working patiently.
