Depending on the situation and the person's personality, I would BE DIRECT AS TO HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU if the work has to be done cooperatively. Or, if the work can be done independently and evaluated on an individual basis, I wouldn't be his/her boss and tell him/her to get to work.
