My education in game design provided me with a lot of unique skills and perspective that I was able to carry with me in my leadership style as a manager and even time/project management as a recruiter. Game Designers are project managers themselves, they have a vision or goal that they need to communicate to multiple parties involved in the process and keep everyone moving forward in that direction to meet that same goal.
