How would you deal with an angry parent

I would maintain a normal level voice. I would have the parent address their concern. If it was a misunderstanding I will explain to parent what I intended to say. If it's something else I will try to work out a solution both of us can agree on. If they are still angry I will have them speak to supervisor.

Maintain normal voice level and let parent voice concern. If possible find a solution that works for both. If not discuss it with supervisor. Last year a mom was angry since her son told her I said no one loves him. In reality I said he's unconditionally loved. Once I explained to site supervisor and directors we were able to appease the mom

I would let the parent voice their concern making sure I understand it first. If I can I'll try to work with them to find solution if not I will report it to supervisor
