How would you handle a line jumper?

Here's how I would handle it.. Politely insist the guest to step out of the queue line. Introduce yourself and then ask the name of the guest. Then, insist the guest follow you. Quietly and calmly lead the guest to the front gate... them walking in front, you slightly behind. You might want to have at least one other officer to support you. After reaching the exit, show them the terms and conditions on the ticket or season pass and insist they exit the park. It says very plainly in the terms and conditions, "Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior, including line-jumping and holding places in line, is strictly prohibited and may be cause for ejection without refund." If they've stowed anything in a locker, ask them wait outside the exit and hand you the key. You will need to find the locker, open and bring the contents to them outside the park. You should have another officer with you when you clear the locker and carry the belongings to the guest to avoid any issues with the claims of theft. I would also suggest wearing gloves and use a merchandise bag. As a security officer, it is your job to uphold the park rules. Once a guest breaks the park rules, they have lost their park privileges. It is your job to see to it that no other park guests are inconvenienced via park ejection of the rule breaker. Write up the name of the guest in the ejection/incident log. If necessary, revoke their season pass.
