The preparation for the many steps of selection require a major effort, disproportionate to the outcome since the exclusion was based on objective data that i) were not addressed as essential but as preferable in the job posting; ii) were already evident from a reading of the cv and cover letter. The reasons for exclusion are clearly reasonable and correct (though I am a big fan of learning by doing and from a young and smart company like BMAT I expected them to be more flexible) but, if they already knew that other candidates were more adapt to the role, I think it was not professional and serious of them to ask for such a great effort: we all are adults and have other jobs, I stopped at the third stage and still two interviews and one assignment required hours of studying, about until 10 pm every day. BMAT is my dream job and I must admit that the frustration is enormous but still I keep the sound mind to say that it was not fair as a process.
