While I have not seen myself in a conflict with a manager, I have seen myself in a conflict at work. Last summer I interned with Sports Media 101. The company was looking for a new way to digest sports news. I was to work closely with the team to write a complete web application that would visualize sports news based on timelines and relationships between stories. However, some members of the team were not doing the assigned tasks at the pace which was expected of them. So, we scheduled weekly meetings so that everyone was on the same page. As a result, each member of the team knew how they were contributing to the project and we were able to work at the expected pace. I implemented all the back-end and database work using PHP and MySQL by manipulating the database that would display the stories. I also handled the dragging of the timelines with JavaScript and jQuery. My partner did the front end work where he used HTML and CSS to build the timelines. At the end of the internship, we presented our product to our boss. The product did really well because we used the full stack to make the application more robust
