I have read the content for the job description, and shared what I thought it entailed. After a pause from the recruiter, I asked "tell me about the position." I did not get the feeling the recruiter even knew what was written about the job description. Like so many companies, job descriptions are not updated, and the recruiters often don't really know what the published content says or means. The recruiter was not personable or professional. As a highly qualified candidate, there was no engagement about other positions I would clearly be more suited for.
