At that time all of my past consulting assignment were fine. When I left each client they were happy and provided a very good references. Based on my reading of the body language and facial expressions I don't think they believed what I had to say. Also from my perspective I perceived some unconscious bias. At the time I could not tell why but I could sense it when after the second interview entered the room.
