What does QA / QC mean to you?
Anonymous
Well, at ATC QA/QC meant memorizing each customer company's requirements and ensuring those requirements were reflected in the project documents we created for them as well as any contract data we were provided. Some customers insisted we indicate equipment in our reports that didn't line up with manufacturer equipment brochures. QA/QC here will largely become robotic application of the customer-specific rule set to documents you create or receive inside the company while taking as little time as possible to do it. This does create an ethical conflict between overlooking details when they get swamped versus being thorough to please both your internal lower middle managers and the customer.
