Honestly, the question was so vague that I was not sure where to even begin. It was not clear to me at all what they were looking for. It almost seemed like a trick question because they did not provide any additional details. The pump can provide more flow, consume more power, influence system pressure (depending on load and pump type), the pump can cavitate, etc. I mentioned all these things, and they still seemed unsatisfied.
