In my last position, I worked with a coworker who often made sarcastic comments that were unhelpful and sometimes hurtful. At first, I tried to ignore her remarks, but after a few weeks of hearing these comments, I decided to speak up and tell her that her comments were making me feel uncomfortable. She apologized and promised to try to stop making those types of comments. After that, we started having more positive interactions.
