What's the difference between serum & plasma?

The difference between serum and plasma is that plasma is the liquid part of blood, that is, whole blood after the removal of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets by centrifuging. It is prevented from clotting with an anticoagulant such as sodium citrate or EDTA.
