I wasn't sure what the stations even were when I was asked, so I got assigned to start in the dining room. The stations are usually dining room, barista, cashier, sandwich line and prep. I would recommend barista, and say avoid dining room, if possible. Most people went straight to dining room to start, unless they had prior Panera or similar experience, but if you make it clear to your manager what you want to do then they can try and give you hours in other stations. Usually you won't be able to be a cashier until you've worked there for a summer or two and gotten a good feel of how everything works/what's on the menu and what everything is made of/they trust you enough to handle the cash.
