I said I would like to be a competent technical customer service engineer, then move into management. This answer was not liked according to their feedback. They would rather hear that I want to be the best customer engineer possible. (All engineers in this role had been in it for over a decade, which signals low chance of upward mobility within the company. To me this is a red flag, but if you would like a stable role then I guess this would be beneficial.)
