The company I previously worked for made a new position available, that being visual merchandiser. They were focused on a new direction focusing on style and trends. Within the first year of a new program they did not get the turnaround they expected so they're expectations of a merchandiser shifted and the position became something else. There was no longer and career opportunity for me in that position.
