Valley National bank has awarded 36 scholarships to students pursuing Masters and Bachelor’s degree since 2004. And, one fact is only 30% of Americans over 25 years age have held at least Bachelor’s degree and only approximately 11% held graduate degree. I was amazed with this fact even in this technologically advanced country, many people are having trouble getting higher education. So, by giving scholarship to students and encouraging young people to pursue higher studies, I feel Valley National Bank is doing outstanding work. And, I would feel I am doing something good for not only me but for others as well by working as an intern.
