In my job with the Salvation Army I acted both as store manager and friend to customer and as a conduit of information to callers . I saw the store as part of a mission to be compassionate to others and also got to know my customer base as well as provide guidance and advice when needed. I see this as a great way to facilitate care at Mercy to make patients and families feel that they are in good hands and have confidence in the care they get.
