This one certainly caught me off guard. I was deep enough into my interview process that it occurred to me we should have covered these basics far before spending a couple of months vetting the possibilities. While the "greatest weakness" question is pretty basic, it put me in a position as an experienced professional to think like I was interviewing for my first role after college. Unfortunately, this was not the only sophomoric question or statement. There are some really bright individuals with the organization and the atmosphere is uplifting, still it's possible to get a few strays in an otherwise positive environment.
