I was working on a hydraulic system yesterday, I had to test the new components to make sure they did not need rebuilding before installation along with verifying the seals of each component to ensure they wouldn't leak. I also inspected the hydraulic fluid for quality, noted it did not meet quality standards and then performed a bleed and partial flush to ensure longer life of the parts and less risk of failure from contaminants.
