how will you work in totally different setup after serving 11 years in army
Anonymous
While the Army and corporate setups are different, the core skills I bring remain highly relevant. Over 11 years in the Army, I have developed strong leadership, discipline, decision-making under pressure, and people management skills — all of which directly apply in any professional environment. I also understand that corporate setups demand a different way of working — collaboration across functions, customer-centricity, and business-driven goals. I am confident in my ability to adapt because, throughout my service, I have constantly adjusted to new postings, teams, and missions. Most importantly, I approach this transition with humility and a learner’s mindset. I am ready to understand processes, adopt new tools, and integrate seamlessly into the culture, while contributing my experience in managing people, operations, and complex situations.
