For me it is mostly about bringing the development and operation teams closer and moving from a more waterfall model to a more agile model which need quicker iterations and prototypes and reduce emphasis on documentation. With the Ci/cd pipelines, the code that is written is continuously built and deployed to the production environment and thus bringing development and operations closer. That’s what DevOps mean to me.
