Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing transportation operations, shipment tracking, and inventory movement to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role works closely with suppliers, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless supply chain operations while improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities:
Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.
Monitor transportation schedules and proactively resolve delivery issues.
Maintain accurate shipping documentation and inventory records.
Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to optimize inventory movement.
Track logistics performance metrics and prepare operational reports.
Communicate with carriers and vendors regarding shipment status and transportation requirements.
Analyze transportation costs and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Support demand planning and inventory management activities.
Investigate shipment discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
3 6 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation Operations.
Strong knowledge of shipping, inventory management, and transportation processes.
Experience coordinating with multiple vendors and carriers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
