Very well established Washington, DC Marina is looking to expand its service department and is looking for experienced marine mechanics able to diagnose and repair marine equipment, marine engines/stern drives (Mercruiser & Volvo) as well as outboard motors (Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, Tohatsu, Yamaha). Some factory training (any brand), is requested. Good diagnostic abilities and troubleshooting skills are a must. Generator repair (Kohler, Westerbeke) and HVAC techs also welcome. Must have a good understanding of marine 12v DC systems and have decent computer skills. Three (3) years minimum marine mechanic field experience required. Top pay $55K - $80K (hourly wage + commission on labor and parts) based on your experience and abilities. You must be willing to take continuing online training classes (provided by our vendors) to further your skills. Excellent benefits (vacation, medical and retirement).
