Title: Data & IT Manager
Overview: We are seeking a detail orientated data manager to oversee the organizations data systems, ensuring information is accurate, standardized, and secure. Responsible for the agency data integrity and development, including data entry, quality control, report generation, and assisting in data-related initiatives.
Salary Range: $70-$75,000 Annually - Comprehensive benefits and generous paid time off
Status: Full Time, Exempt – Benefit Eligible. Reports to: Executive Director
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in data or computer science or related field with a strong emphasis on data collection, validation, management, and utilization. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience with data system entry, reporting, and maintenance. AIRS (AIDS Institute Reporting System) and/or EHR (Electronic Health Records) experience a plus.
3. Expert proficiency in Data Mining, analysis, and validation.
4. Demonstrated Tier 1 IT level of technical knowledge and proficiency.
5. Experience in creating and maintaining accounts with Exchange and Active Directory preferred.
6. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes.
7. Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
8. Exceptional interpersonal, written communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Serves as the primary administrator for HIXNY (Health Information Exchange), AIRS (AIDS Institute Reporting System), Foothold EHR (Electronic Health Records), and 340B reporting/compliance.
2. Streamlines data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics for Continuous Quality Improvement efforts for each program area.
3. Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis. Audits program data on a regular basis to ensure data quality. Develops ad-hoc reports as necessary and effectively communicates and interprets them for staff.
4. Assists in resolving data-related issues stemming from program-level data and/or member-level data by working in several systems simultaneously, including the AIDS Institute Reporting System (AIRS), the Agency’s Electronic Health Record (EHR), and other internal databases.
5. Remains up to date on grant reporting requirements. Assists in the preparation of data reports required by funders and ensures that reports address changing funding priorities and requirements, including the annual Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Services Report (RSR).
6. Responsible for implementation and/or integration of new products/features and technologies including end user training. Provide staff with AIRS and EHR training, troubleshooting, and maintenance of policies and procedures.
7. Provides Tier 1 level of support for all IT issues, as well as functional support with computers, printers, and other technology.
8. Responsible for ensuring data security and privacy best practices.
9. Engages in self-care to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
10. Attends full staff meetings and meet required 24 hours of annual training
11. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
