We are expanding our digital footprint across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and web advertisements. We are looking for an elite, seasoned Senior Automotive Video Editor who eats, sleeps, and breathes automotive culture, and knows how to turn raw engine roars and gorgeous rolling shots into scroll-stopping digital content.

Position Summary

We are looking for a true master of post-production—someone with a minimum of 8 years of dedicated professional editing experience, specifically operating within the automotive space. You know exactly how cars should look, sound, and move on screen.

In this role, you will take cinematic multi-cam studio footage, rugged outdoor lifestyle shoots, and quick mobile clips, transforming them into premium long-form features (such as vehicle overviews and docu-style builds) and high-impact short-form social assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Premium Long-Form Editing: Own the post-production pipeline for our main YouTube series and website inventory walkarounds. Craft compelling narrative structures from multi-cam builds, vlogs, and cinematic B-roll.
• Scroll-Stopping Short-Form Content: Cut, re-frame, and optimize high-energy vertical videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) designed to captivate audiences within the first 2 seconds. Keep up with current audio trends and fast-paced social algorithms.
• Advanced Sound Design & Mixing: Bring our massive V8 and electric powertrains to life. You must possess elite audio engineering skills to perfectly balance heavy engine roars, exhaust notes, background music, and voiceover tracks.
• Color Grading & Retouching: Apply professional color grading to ensure our specialized vehicle textures (like our signature Kevlar coats, matte wraps, and high-gloss finishes) pop across all viewing screens.
• Motion Graphics & Visual Effects: Create and implement clean, brand-aligned lower thirds, transition effects, tracking graphics, text animation, and titles that fit our bold "Excess Without Apology" aesthetic.
• Remote Workflow Management: Efficiently manage large raw 4K/6K files through cloud-based storage (Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox). Maintain organized, cleanly structured project files and assets to ensure quick turnaround times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 8+ Years of Professional Video Editing Experience: A strict minimum of 8 years in post-production is required. You must have a portfolio heavily focused on automotive content (dealership showcases, automotive lifestyle brands, automotive YouTube series, or commercial car spots).
• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve Studio).
• Automotive Intuition: An unteachable eye for automotive pacing. You know how to sync exhaust notes to visual cuts, utilize speed ramps perfectly, and build tension matching the raw power of the trucks.
• Independent & Deadline-Driven: As a remote/contract team member, you must be a self-starter who can manage your own time, take direction with minimal oversight, and strictly meet aggressive content release calendars.
• Production Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of codecs, frame rates, color spaces (LOG profiles), and delivery specifications for various social media platforms.
• Portfolio Requirement: Applications must include a link to a portfolio or reel showcasing advanced automotive editing, sound design, and color grading.
