Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Kindergarten Teacher and Voluntary Pre Kinder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for child welfare and education, with experience in classroom management and childcare. Experience with Montessori education and proficiency in subjects like math is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet educational standards
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students
- Conduct standardized testing and assessments to track student progress
- Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum
- Offer individualized tutoring to students as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and behavior

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles
- Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• VPK: 1 year (Required)

• Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
