Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, the Manager of Engineering oversees Project Design, Engineering, and Product Support operations, with direct oversight of four senior reports and overall accountability for a team of 28 engineering professionals. The role is responsible for leading the Engineering department to achieve corporate goals, with accountability for the safety of design, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables, manufacturing profit margin, and overall product quality. This role requires both strategic leadership capability and direct hands-on technical expertise in gas compression and power generation systems, including onsite commissioning and field troubleshooting. The role also carries responsibility for evaluating and integrating new product lines adjacent to the company’s core compression and power generation business.
