Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals.
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and confidentiality.
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist residents during meal times to promote independence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to health standards.
• Engage residents in social activities and community outings to foster social skills and community integration.
• Follow individualized care plans designed by healthcare teams to support each resident’s unique needs and goals.

Experience

• Previous experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), autism support, hospice care, and general senior or long-term care is advantageous.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance or medication administration are a plus.
• Experience with patient monitoring tools like vital signs measurement and resident’s <PERSON> (personal belongings) management is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; comfort with physical activity involved in caregiving tasks is essential.
• Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with healthcare teams, residents, families, and social workers to develop effective care plans. Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual receives respectful support tailored to their needs!

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
