Job Overview

As a Nurse Practitioner at Glow Med Spa, you will provide comprehensive aesthetic consultations, develop individualized treatment plans, and perform advanced cosmetic injectable and laser procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong clinical background, exceptional communication skills, and an artistic eye for facial aesthetics. Experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, or medical aesthetics is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop customized treatment plans based on each client's goals.
• Administer cosmetic neurotoxins (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) and dermal fillers using advanced injection techniques.
• Perform aesthetic laser treatments, including skin rejuvenation, IPL, ResurFX, acne treatments, rosacea treatments, hair restoration, and other laser procedures.
• Assess patient medical history, evaluate candidacy for treatment, and ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and post-treatment care.
• Recommend appropriate treatment plans, maintenance schedules, memberships, and medical-grade skincare products.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Recognize and appropriately manage complications while maintaining the highest standard of patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Utah state regulations, infection control standards, and clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with the Glow Med Spa team to provide an exceptional patient experience and support continued practice growth.
• Build strong, long-term relationships through outstanding customer service and patient follow-up.
• Maintain treatment rooms, laser equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine through continuing education.
• Assist with additional clinic and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Utah with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience performing cosmetic injectables and aesthetic laser treatments.
• Extensive experience with neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy, aging, and full-face aesthetic assessment.
• Experience performing laser treatments in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting.
• Excellent clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.
• Outstanding communication, consultation, and patient education skills.
• Professional appearance and positive, compassionate demeanor.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PRF/EZ Gel PRF, microneedling, biostimulators, and regenerative aesthetic treatments.
• Experience developing long-term treatment plans and facial balancing.
• Familiarity with aesthetic practice management software and EMR systems.
• Passion for continuing education and staying current on industry trends.
