Job Description
We are seeking a Solution Engineer - LATAM to join our team and act as the technical backbone of our regional growth.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with the sales team, engaging directly with customers through calls, events, and in-person meetings to scope, design, and verify complex project builds. Beyond sales support, you will partner with cross-functional teams—such as marketing and product management—to develop high-quality training materials, provide technical insights, and lead technical trainings or webinars for our channel partners.

By building strong relationships and deeply understanding client needs, you will assist in expanding business opportunities, helping customers optimize their budgets while ensuring their critical data is secured with Synology's best-in-class solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Customer Technical Consultation: Partner closely with the sales team to engage directly with clients through calls, webinars, or in-person meetings. Actively listen to and analyze customers' current IT pain points, business objectives, and technical requirements to accurately define project scope
· Solution Architecture Design & Verification: Translate client requirements into robust, customized technical architecture. Lead technical proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations and validate system designs to ensure high reliability, data security, and seamless deployment
· Product Demonstration & Troubleshooting: Research, test, and master all available Synology product features to perform technical live demonstrations. Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve project-related technical issues
· Market Research: Constantly research and learn about other products and features in the market to stay updated on industry trends and maintain a competitive edge
· Technical Presentation: Act as the primary technical presenter; lead high-impact training sessions for internal teams and host public webinars, workshops, or major events to empower external channel partners
· Content Development & Feedback: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality and professional technical training materials, while providing constructive feedback
Qualifications:
Language:
· Native Spanish and professional English fluency (exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages)
· Professional Portuguese fluency is a plus
Education:
· Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college is required
· Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university is preferred
