The Testing Automation Engineer at C1 level is responsible for creating maintaining and executing automated test workflows using Mabl to support digital quality initiatives across insurance applications This role requires strong functional understanding of insurance processes hands on automation expertise and the ability to collaborate with distributed Agile teams
Key Responsibilities:
Design build and maintain automated test journeys using Mabl for web based insurance applications
Analyze requirements acceptance criteria and existing manual test cases to convert them into scalable automated test scenarios
Execute automated regression suites and validate outputs across multiple environments
Monitor test executions triage failures identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Maintain reusable test assets datasets and environment configurations within Mabl
Support integration of Mabl test suites with CICD pipelines and deployment workflows
Collaborate with cross functional teams including QA developers BAs product owners and DevOps
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and quality focused practices
Ensure adherence to organizational standards compliance requirements and quality engineering best practices
Provide knowledge sharing and support junior team members where necessary
Technical Skills Required:
Hands on experience in Mabl test automation including flows assertions data handling and cloud execution
Good understanding of test automation concepts regression strategy and maintenance of test suites
Basic knowledge of JavaScript or similar scripting languages for custom steps validations or API calls
Familiarity with version control Git and CICD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
Good debugging skills for identifying UI and integrationrelated issues
Exposure to API automation and validation is an added advantage
Domain Skills:
Understanding of insurance business processes including policy billing claims and customer servicing
Familiarity with digital customer journeys portals workflows and system integration touchpoints
Awareness of compliance data accuracy and industry specific testing considerations
Behavioral Competencies
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
Effective communication and cross team collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently with accountability and ownership of test deliverables
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or equivalent field
Five to seven years of QA experience with at least one to two years in Mabl automation
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.19/hour - $54.99/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
