Job Summary

Tri Valley Landscaping is hiring a Landscape Tech Apprentice for an entry-level field position based in Casa Grande, Arizona.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn a real trade and build a career in landscaping. You do not need landscape experience to start. You do need to be reliable, coachable, safety-minded, and willing to work hard outdoors with a team.

As a Landscape Tech Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced crews on real jobsites while learning landscape construction, irrigation, turf, maintenance, planting, material handling, site prep, cleanup, and professional jobsite standards.

This is not just a short-term labor job. It is a starting point for someone who wants to grow into a skilled Landscape Technician, Irrigation Technician Apprentice, Turf Technician, Design/Build Crew Member, or future crew leader.

What You’ll Do

• Assist crews with landscape construction, irrigation, turf, maintenance, planting, pavers, and general field tasks
• Help with site prep, staging, material handling, digging, cleanup, and load-up
• Learn safe tool use, jobsite organization, and professional work habits
• Follow direction from Crew Leads and Project Managers
• Wear required PPE and follow safety expectations every day
• Keep trucks, tools, materials, and jobsites clean and organized
• Communicate early when something is unclear, unsafe, missing, or at risk
• Participate in field coaching, training, and skill development

• Is comfortable working outside in Arizona conditions
• Can follow instructions before improvising
• Helps keep the jobsite clean, safe, and professional

No prior landscape experience is required. Experience in outdoor work, construction, agriculture, sports, mechanical work, or other hands-on work is helpful but not required.

Candidates must complete Tri Valley Landscaping’s hiring process before receiving an offer. The process may include application questions, video responses, an in-person interview, and a paid working interview.
