Design Culture (What It’s Like Here)
We're a collaborative team that values both good design and good execution. Some team members thrive on generating ideas, others enjoy solving technical challenges, and many enjoy a little of both. We believe the best projects come from bringing those perspectives together.
Our environment is approachable, supportive, and low-ego. We enjoy discussing design, exploring materials, and improving the way projects come together, but we're equally passionate about quality, coordination, and getting the details right. Whether you're putting together a presentation, developing a custom millwork family, or refining a drawing set, you'll be surrounded by people who appreciate thoughtful work, continuous learning, and a shared commitment to delivering great projects.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of design and technical execution. You'll help develop design concepts, materials, presentations, and furniture solutions while also producing detailed documentation, custom Revit content, millwork drawings, and project coordination deliverables. Ideal candidates enjoy discussing design ideas just as much as they enjoy refining the details that make those ideas buildable.
What We’re Looking For
· 5+ years of experience in architecture or interior design
· A strong design eye paired with a genuine appreciation for technical precision
· Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and coordination principles
· Experience with custom millwork, interior TI documentation, and architectural detailing
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to communicate design ideas clearly through visual and technical means
· Comfortable balancing multiple project needs and shifting between design and production tasks
· A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in to support the project teams
What You’ll Do
· Create presentations, visual materials, and client-facing design packages
· Build and maintain custom Revit families, including millwork, furniture, and specialty design elements
· Research, source, and coordinate finishes, materials, furnishings, and equipment
· Support project teams with design development, documentation, and coordination across multiple phases
· Develop and maintain Revit models, drawing sets, and project documentation
· Develop custom millwork details and technical drawing packages
· Assist with finish sample ordering, organization, and tracking
· Coordinate design intent with technical requirements to ensure projects are both compelling and buildable
· Support quality control and documentation efforts throughout the project lifecycle
Why This Role Is Different
Most roles lean heavily toward either design or production. This one intentionally sits in both worlds.
You'll have opportunities to participate in design discussions, help shape project presentations, and contribute to material and furniture selections, while also diving deep into the technical side of architecture and interiors through Revit modeling, detailing, documentation, and millwork development.
It's a role for someone who enjoys talking through design ideas just as much as they enjoy refining the details that make those ideas possible.
