Job Title: Assayer / Sample Preparation Technician (Part-Time → Full-Time Opportunity)
Location: Beatrice, Nebraska (Rare Earth Salts facility)
Employer: Melcorp LLC (role executed on-site at Rare Earth Salts)

Primary Duties:

• Assay rare earth oxides, specifically yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃) and terbium oxide (Tb₄O₇)
• Prepare, weigh, pack, and seal samples (bags, vials, jars)
• Label samples and ensure accuracy of all associated documentation
• Generate and verify shipping documents (SDS, COA, commercial invoices)
• Create FedEx (or equivalent) labels and coordinate outbound shipments
• Maintain a master spreadsheet tracking all sample shipments
• Communicate shipment status to internal commercial team and external recipients

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow structured lab and handling procedures
• Basic lab familiarity preferred
• Proficiency in Excel for tracking/logging samples
• Clear communication skills

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

• Rare earth materials handling
• Sample prep / QA / QC / lab work
• Familiarity with SDS / COA documentation

Compensation & Structure:

• Hourly, part-time to start
