BCBA REQUIREMENTS

Must hold a current BACB certification and Texas Licensure

Must have Professional Liability Insurance (1,000,000-Individual/ 3,000,000-Aggregate)

Must have reliable transportation

Must be able to pass a federal level background check

Must have current BLS/CPR, by AHA (American Heart Assc.) or ARC (American Red Cross)

Restraint Training- CPI, PMAB, etc. (preferred)

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience conducting VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS assessments

Experience conducting preference assessments

Strong writing skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

Experience training RBTs, staff, and parents utilizing technical and non-technical language

Experience writing treatment plans for insurance providers and completing peer reviews

Skilled in multi-tasking, management of caseload with clients of varying ability, and proficient in conflict management

Knowledge of People First Language
