BEE ACCESS- QC INSPECTOR

We are seeking a detail-driven QC Inspector to ensure that the suspended access equipment we manufacture meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This role inspects raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods, serving as the final check before our products leave the facility. Because our equipment supports workers suspended at-height, the QC Inspector plays a mission-critical role in identifying defects, preventing nonconforming items from reaching customers, and protecting the lives of the end users who depend on our products every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect incoming materials, work in process, and finished suspended access equipment through visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and functional testing using calipers, micrometers, tape measure, and gauges.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for manufactured products, articles, processes, and procedures.
• Help strengthen and maintain our Quality Management System.
• Record inspection results, test data, and reports in logs or quality databases alongside Quality Control Administrator.
• Ensure measurement tools remain properly calibrated.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to improve manufacturing drawings and product quality.
• Identify, tag, document, and isolate nonconforming products and materials to prevent mixing with good stock.
• Conduct first-article inspections to verify setup accuracy.
• Verify operator assembly, welds, procedures, and safety compliance meet our specifications.
• Develop working knowledge of applicable industry standards.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to review and disposition returned products.
• Provide feedback to Management, Supervisors, and Production Teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Conducting detailed inspections of the first items produced to ensure setup accuracy.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience required.
• Strong mechanical mindset with quality control experience required.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing plant, factory, warehouse settings, which can be hot.
• 2+ years of SolidWorks experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Able to read prints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision in drafting, calculation and detailing.
• Solid understanding of basic measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
• Able to stand, push, pull, carry, squat, kneel, and maneuver through a production warehouse with the ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. on occasion
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Comfortable interacting professionally with vendors, sales team and operations.
