Job Title: Writer’s Assistant Intern

Position Summary:
We are building a small, collaborative writers’ room with three assistant writers to help develop uplifting scripts. Entry-level candidates are welcome as long as they demonstrate a natural talent for storytelling and a passion for creating meaningful narratives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional and supportive creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with fellow assistant writers to brainstorm, outline, and draft scripts.
• Participate actively in writers’ room discussions and contribute creative ideas.
• Take detailed notes during sessions to track story development and revisions.
• Conduct research to enhance scripts with accurate and compelling details.
• Assist in editing and formatting scripts to industry standards.
• Manage deadlines and support the team in meeting project goals.
• Provide feedback on drafts and incorporate revisions as needed.

Qualifications:

• A natural talent for storytelling, demonstrated through writing samples or past work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute ideas in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Familiarity with scriptwriting software (such as Final Draft) is a plus but not required.
• Open to feedback and eager to learn and grow in a professional writers’ room.
