Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an HR Generalist / Payroll Administrator for a well-established company in La Verne, CA. This hands-on role supports both HR and payroll functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, partnering closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliance, accuracy, and smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting hourly and salaried employees in an industrial setting and is comfortable working on-site. Strong experience with HR functions and payroll processing is required. Experience with Ease and Paylocity is strongly preferred.

Compensation: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (DOE)

• Key Responsibilities:
• Support full-cycle HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payroll administration
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
• Support employee relations, including issue resolution and documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Partner with leadership on HR initiatives and process improvements
• Assist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs and scheduling interviews
• Qualifications:
• Experience as an HR Generalist, HR Assistant, or Payroll Administrator
• Hands-on payroll experience required
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll processes, and compliance
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Experience with Ease and Paylocity strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site and manage multiple priorities
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
