The City of Encinitas is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Center Manager to manage the daily operations at the Pacific View Arts Center. In this impactful leadership role, you will oversee the scheduling and registration process for all arts education classes, arts workshops and arts camps for adults and children. The position will also manage special events on the property, aimed to enhance the lives of Encinitas residents.
This position provides daily operational oversight; supervises staff, contract instructors, and volunteers; and ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and inclusive services. Responsibilities also include managing program budgets and contracts, maintaining records, coordinating marketing and outreach materials, fostering strong relationships with community partners, and ensuring facilities remain safe, welcoming, and aligned with the City's commitment to exceptional recreation services.

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, or an arts related field, and at least three years of journey level professional experience that is directly applicable to the work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
