The Science Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring a "Lab Computing Analyst" for a top pharmaceutical company.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows 11 (LTS, Pro, Enterprise).
- Perform manual Windows builds and replicate system configurations.
- Support laboratory instruments, software, and peripherals (printers, scanners, cameras, expansion cards).
- Troubleshoot hardware, drivers, and operating system issues.
- Use SCCM for package deployment and issue investigation.
- Manage and update tickets in ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Perform room-by-room IT asset inventories using scanning/RFID tools.
- Maintain accurate asset records and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Work independently with end users, researchers, and vendors.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of IT support experience.
- Strong Windows 11 deployment and troubleshooting experience.
- Hands-on hardware installation and configuration.
- Experience with SCCM, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with laboratory environments and IT asset management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Additional Information:
- Location: Albany, NY
- Duration: 6 months contract
- Pay: $30–$32/hour on W2(DOE)
